I of course fully intend on playing as competently as I am able. If you're standing around AFK, not trying, dying in red stuff repeatedly, spamming a totally worthless ability, and generally making little effort to be useful - that's when people are gonna stop and go, "UH LOLZ WHY U AN ORC SAUCEROR BRO" If you're paying attention, tackling mechanics, and playing well, 9 times out of 10 people aren't even gonna notice your race TBH. I should point out that ESO is my first MMO on PC, so I'm still learning about the community.Įven though I played on Xbox, I never really interacted with the community there, so this is all rather new to me. Would I be kicked for being the "wrong" race and all that jazz. See that was something I wasn't sure about. I have done many VET trail/ dungeons and never has anyone told me to leave because I was a Breton instead of an Altmer for my magdps classes. Even if its not the "best" race for your build type the different in another race won't prevent you from doing end game content. If your not worried about meta then pick any race you like and have fun. At least for a magika race perspective but that's all I play so I haven't watched any testing for the more stamina oriented races. But I have seen a few test videos now and so far everything is really balance with the changes. And even having the "BEST" is really only a small percentage better then the other. The people who are worried about race changes are only worried about having the meta build for best dps, heals, tank. Elyon Racesįortunately your race choice in Elyon is purely aesthetical, since all races can use all classes, and both genders (with the exception of Ein, which is genderless).Yeah doesn't matter. If you are wise and rational, you are welcome to join under the Ontari flag and help bring in the dawn of a new era. The Ontari and Vulpin will never be able to go across Elyon together. To accomplish this, Ontari must claim the ultimate power that rests beyond Elyon. Ontari seeks to drive out the Vulpin Parliament-the incompetent dictators of Harth-and start a new chapter in Harth’s history. Practical and reasonable, Ontari wishes to forge a new Harth in their image, leading Northern Harth with the immense charisma of the Vissen Federal Agency. The Ontari Union is a congregation of up-and-coming factions that refute the reign of Solum Kingdom. If you understand honor and justice, then you are welcome to join the ranks of Vulpin and reassert justice in Harth. The thought of Ontari reaching Elyon before Vulpin is simply inconceivable. As such, it is critical that the Vulpin Parliament obtains the ultimate power which lies beyond Elyon. Vulpin strives to punish the Ontari Union, a group of avaricious rebels, in order to restore peace and order to Harth. The Parliament rules over Southern Harth with the distinguished authority of the Este Senate. Vulpin, who encourages protecting the weak and combating injustice as the noblest acts, yearns to see the Solum Kingdom thrive. The Vulpin Parliament is a faction formed by those who dream of the righteous and honorable Solum Kingdom’s revival.
The Realm that includes fewer players, will be the one that’s recommended, but it’s pretty much an Alliance / Horde case here, so I hope you go with Vulpin.
As mentioned, the Realm choice you make as soon as you create your first character, will stick with your account forever.
